Howard Payne University

Howard Payne University will welcome the community for its annual Christmas on the Plaza celebration on Tuesday, December 1. This beloved holiday tradition brings students, faculty, staff, and community members together to celebrate the start of the Christmas season with festive lights, holiday activities, and plenty of Christmas cheer. A tradition at HPU since 2003, Christmas on the Plaza offers a special opportunity for the university and Brownwood communities to gather, enjoy fellowship, and celebrate the meaning of the season. Howard Payne University will welcome the community for its annual Christmas Concert on Tuesday, December 1. The festive evening will fill the campus with the sounds of the season as HPU musicians and performers come together to celebrate Christmas through music. A beloved Brownwood holiday tradition, the concert brings the university and surrounding community together for an evening of seasonal music and celebration. Past performances have featured the HPU Yellow Jacket Band and Concert Choir alongside community musicians. Additional details will be announced as they become available.
